HDMI Cables
So many of our video devices these days are connected via HDMI, I thought I'd tell you about some reasonably priced cables. Even many laptops these days feature an HDMI port. If you look at the "quality" cables out there, you see absolutely insane prices. Amazon decided to get in the cable business to provide good cables at bargain prices. The most common cable needed is 2 meters (6.5 feet for those of us in the US) and it sells for $6.99. It supports high speeds, 3D and an audio return channel. For those who need a longer cable, there is a 3 meter (9.8 feet) cable that sells for $7.99. There are also ultra-high-speed versions of both lengths that are higher priced. The 2 meter cable sells for $27.99 and the 3 meter sells for $25.90. I have no idea why the longer cable costs less, but it might be worth buying the longer one. For those who need to connect a computer with DVI ports to HDMI, there is also an HDMI to DVI adapter cable (3 meters) for $7.24.
I told you a few days ago that I would be including some very special coupons in blog posts to reward loyal readers. Let's start with a really big one. If you register for our CorelDRAW Unleashed Training Boot Camp and use the Offer Code of "BC09-200", we'll knock $200 off the cost of registration. This code expires at midnight Pacific time on September 1, 2010. That means the clock is already ticking and you need to register now. If you register after that time, the offer code will not be honored. For those who find this post after the coupon code has expired, you should consider subscribing (it's free) to this blog via e-mail so you don't miss the next offer. There is no telling when I'll feel like including the next coupon and what product or service it will cover.
