AKVIS HDRFactory
I have already told you about several different software packages for HDR imaging. I had planned to do my last post for a while on the subject and then I came across yet another package. Previously I've covered ReDynamix which provides a low-cost option. There are two free packages, Luminance and PictureNaut. And there has been a high-end option, HDR Efex Pro.
AKVIS HDRFactory falls in between the options I've previously discussed. In Adobe Photoshop (not Corel PHOTO-PAINT), it can be used as a plug-in. It is also available as a standalone package. A 10-day trial version is available and it costs $69-$189 to purchase. You can create HDR images from multiple exposures or pseudo-HDR from a single image. One of the features promoted is a tool to repair the "ghosts" that can sometimes appear in HDR images.
I highly recommend you download the trial version and see if this is the right tool for you. There are a number of choices in the HDR arena and it could be you want to have more than one tool in your toolbox.
