HDR Efex Pro
The last two weeks I covered several tools for creating HDR images. Last week I covered the free options, Luminance and PictureNaut. Two weeks ago I wrote about ReDynamix. It is fairly inexpensive. Today we'll look at the other end of the spectrum. Nik HDR Efex Pro sells for $160 and requires either Photoshop or Lightroom. It is definitely not a tool for someone wanting to just play around with HDR images.
Algorithms are included for creating HDR from a single image as well as from bracketed images. It is multi-threaded and works in 64-bit to give you fast results. For those of you who want to push HDR to its limits, this is a tool you'll want to investigate. A 15-day trial is available for download so you can try it out.
