Answering Common Questions About Macros
Some users happily take advantage of macros to extend their capabilities in CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT. Other users feel a bit intimidated and aren't sure how to add macros to their workflow. So today I'm going to give you links to pages of information about macros from our friends at GDG Macros.
Let's start with Getting Started. Here you can learn how to use and install macros. There is even a section that tells you how to use a snippet of macro code provided to you. Not every macro works in every version of CorelDRAW. I can't stress enough that you should strongly consider upgrading at least every other version. For those who are using older versions, there is no better time than now to upgrade to CorelDRAW X5. GDG has provided a great chart for their macros showing which macros work in which versions. Other providers of macros list which versions of CorelDRAW are supported. If in doubt, ask!
If you know of a macro that you'd like me to share with other CorelDRAW users, post a message on the Graphics Unleashed Facebook page and tell me about it.
