Fix For Saving to JPG and PNG From CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X5 SP3
If you found that saving to JPG and PNG was extremely difficult after installing Service Pack 3 of CorelDRAW X5, a fix has been made available (this is a direct link to the EXE of a hotfix).
Those who have not experienced problems do not need to download and install this fix. Most users were not affected. I was one who was affected and it was incredibly annoying to say the least.
Follow-up: Corel has posted a Web page for the fix. You'll find links to download the fix and instructions on what it fixes.

Is this the buggiest version ever?
"Is this the buggiest version ever?"
Naw. I don't think so. It's the largest in terms of functionality. As a program gets large and powerful with more and more features there's just more chance something can go wrong.
PS. Maybe a good idea to add this to a forum post to get the word out....
CorelDRAW X5 doesn't even come close to the buggiest version. CorelDRAW 6 was by far the worst ever. If Corel could simply drop support for Windows XP, things would be much easier. Trying to support three operating systems released as much as nine years ago is pretty tough.
Install just hangs during download ... any suggestions?
Hangs during download... God Bless Corel!!!
