Chevrolet Speedometer Design

Do you remember the speedometer design in your first car? I'm thinking about mine right now and I just can't remember much about it. Prior to reading a post by Christian Annyas called Chevrolet Speedometer Design, I hadn't thought much about it. In his post are graphics of speedometers and how they have evolved from 1941 to 2011. It may be a different type of design than what you typically do, but it is very educational to look at the design progression as it may give you ideas for your own projects. Amazing how much you can learn from the arrangement of a few lines and numbers.
