Easy Thumbnails

Not too long ago I got a question from a loyal reader asking for an easy way to downsample a batch of images to a specified size. This can certainly be done in Corel PHOTO-PAINT and is a task I describe in Corel PHOTO-PAINT X5 Unleashed. In fact, I provide the scripts necessary to do it. It can also be done quite easily in Irfanview, one of my favorite freebie utilities for working with bitmaps.

Today's utility, Easy Thumbnails, doesn't have a huge list of features. It's main focus is taking a batch of images and making thumbnails from those images at the finished size you determine. While it has a limited set of features, it does have lots of options for creating thumbnails so you get the best possible quality. So now you have three options for accomplishing this task.
