Corel Corporation Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Roxio Business From Rovi Corporation

It was less than a week ago we learned that Corel Corporation had purchased Bibble Labs and the result of that purchased was revealed to be Corel AfterShot Pro. Now comes news that Corel Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Roxio. This latest deal is expected to close some time in February. While it does expand Corel's product line, it can also mean that there is less focus on the products of most interest to many of us. Time will tell how it all plays out.
