Flashy CSS Menus, JavaScript Slideshows and a Big Birthday

Today I wanted to cover a series of topics. Let's start with a couple of tutorials/tools for Web site design. The first tells you How to Create a Flashy Menu Using CSS. It gives you the CSS and HTML code needed to create a pretty cool menu for a Web site. Admittedly, it is code so it may be a little geeky for some readers.

Next up is the JavaScript Slideshow Wizard. You tell the wizard what pictures you want to use, the duration they are to appear and transitions and it will give you the code needed to have such a slideshow on your site. It is very easy to copy and paste the finished code so it isn't as geeky as the CSS menus but it does require knowing how to add code to a Web page.

I'm sure most of you know, today is Valentine's Day. I hope it is a great day for all of you. Today is also the birthday of "someone" near and dear to my heart. It is the 100th birthday of the State of Arizona! That's right, Arizona became the 48th state on February 14, 1912. I've been an Arizona resident for almost a quarter of its statehood. Wow! I guess I should also mention the collection of US Flags we released in Clipart Unleashed a little while back for those who need an Arizona flag for the celebration.
