Scaling Outlines With Image

I often see users post a feature request for something that already exists in CorelDRAW. Last week there was a request for a macro that wasn't necessary because the feature didn't exist. I'm not posting this to knock those asking for the features. We are in the training business and we provide training products that show the features in question. My only request to users who are starting out and even those who are quite proficient is to take advantage of the training resources available to learn to become even more proficient. I learn something new on a regular basis and so can you!

In this case the request was for a macro that would convert all outlines with scale with image off and turn it on. There are a couple of ways to do this automatically. One way is using the Find and Replace Wizard to search for this attribute off and to turn it on. That technique is described in Lesson 40 of CorelDRAW X5 Unleashed. Another technique is a bit more hidden. Just select all the objects in the drawing. Go to the Outline Pen dialog and only change the scale with image attribute. Since that is the only attribute you are changing, it is the only attribute that changes with all objects selected. Objects without outlines won't show a visible effect.
