Deadline Quickly Approaching for CorelDRAW X6 Upgrade Grace Period
There are many CorelDRAW users who choose to put off upgrading for a few versions. Corel has made this easy with their previous upgrade policies. Those policies have changed and users of older versions will soon see the grace period expire. Some of may think there will be an upgrade policy with each new release. I seriously doubt it.Let me make the math really easy. Upgrading from any previous version is $199 until June 18, 2012 in North America (prices outside North America can vary). After June 18, users of CorelDRAW X3 and earlier will pay the full $499 price to get CorelDRAW X6. Some of you may say you are waiting for a service pack before you upgrade. Normally that is a good plan. In this case, save yourself a lot of money and purchase the upgrade before the deadline. If you want to wait on X6, simply don't install it until a service pack is released.
There are going to be a lot of users who want to upgrade after June 18 who are going to be very upset to find they have to buy a full version. Please pass a link to this post to any CorelDRAW users you know so they can upgrade before the price rises! Yes, we earn a commission if you use the links provided to purchase the upgrade from Corel. The commissions we earn allow us to provide the vast amount of free content we provide and we definitely appreciate your support.
