Fire and Ice Tutorials and Textures

Some of the most popular effects to create are fire and ice. We'll start out with a series of tutorials written by David Mutch about ten years ago. In total, he has six tutorials showing how to create fire and ice effects in Corel PHOTO-PAINT. As they were written a while back, the tutorials apply to a much older version of Corel PHOTO-PAINT (v9). The good news is that they can still be done in Corel PHOTO-PAINT X6 with only minor modifications.

Creating effects like the one shown above right is definitely cool. Other times you want to fill objects with a texture simulating fire or ice. Textures Unleashed Volume 5: Fire and Ice contains 123 different textures so you have just the fire or ice themed texture for the project at hand.
