Graphics Unleashed Web Site Updates

I can't remember the last day when there wasn't some change made to the Graphics Unleashed Web Site. The most common change is the addition of new blogs posts and those changes are made dynamically (not by humans). There are certainly other changes made quite often, though most are relatively small and may not even be noticed by most visitors.

We've made a change to the site in the past few days that will probably immediately be obvious to anyone who visits fairly regularly. The Google ads at the top of most pages have been removed. We have also removed some of them that weren't at the top of pages. No, they have not all been removed. Part of the reason that some remain is it will take more time to remove them and some we are testing to see if they are worth keeping.

Most visitors will initially rejoice because rarely does anyone want ads on a page. Yet it is the income from those ads that helps to support free content and/or the costs of maintaining a site. For a site of our size and the traffic that visits, the cost is quite expensive just to keep it running.

Since we know many of you will appreciate the decrease in ads, we have to ask you to help us keep the ads away. By removing them, we lost the income they generated. Show us your appreciation by occasionally buying something. It doesn't have to be expensive as we have well over 1000 products that cost $5. Of course we wouldn't mind it you bought something expensive. Heck, you could even suggest to someone else that they buy something. Every little bit helps!

Along with the big changes at the top of the page came a big change at the bottom of most pages. We have a box that allows you to buy software. The box underwent a major redesign and has links to a lot of popular graphics software. In the case of the links for Corel and Adobe products, you are buying directly from the respective companies. If you click our links, we do earn a small commission on the sale. So if you are planning on buying some software, we sure would appreciate if you could click our links. You will always get the best prices available from Corel or Adobe!

There was one other big change and that was the additional of the "Follow Graphics Unleashed" buttons to both the top and bottom of the page. Many of you reading this post are regular readers and you may already subscribe to the blog via e-mail. If you don't subscribe, please consider it. There are also icons for become our Facebook fan, my Twitter follower, a Google+ follower, a LinkedIn subscriber, our YouTube channel and shopping at the Amazon and Corel stores.
