25 Blogs You Should Consider Reading Regularly
I've run into some blog posts from others recently about blog and other content sites they are recommending to others. I want to pass along their lists to you and to provide a list of my own favorites not on these other lists. Why blogs? There is a lot of quality information being written by writers all over the world. Reading their thoughts and incorporating the best information into your own business will only help to make you better.Let's start with a post titled 4 Best Photography Sites to Learn. They've got some great sites on their list and I wanted to add to the list. My favorites include ScottBourne.com and PetaPixel. For those who want to learn all kinds of lighting tips and techniques, check out Strobist. Last, but certainly not least, is the Holy Crop blog by Rikk Flohr. That gives you eight sites loaded with all kinds of great information on improving your photography and editing skills.
Next up is a post titled 13 Blogs to Learn From in 2013 for Your Website's Success. I know a few of those sites are places I regularly read and visit. Social media has been a topic of interest to me lately and Mark Schaefer's {grow} blog and Stanford Smith's Pushing Social are two of my favorites. Mark is the author of the Return on Influence and Tao of Twitter books I wrote about earlier this year. Another great resource for blogging and social media information is JeffBullas.com.
You may have noticed some of the blogs mentioned talked about creating your own blog. It can be hard to build a readership and you'll find one suggestion often given is to write a guest blog post. If you have something you'd like me to consider running on Graphics Unleashed, please drop me a note with a short description of the idea. If posted, you'll certainly get full credit!
