Before You Click the Shutter, Look Carefully at What You Are Shooting
It seems like everyone is taking more pictures nowadays thanks to having a camera in our phones. So before you take a picture, do you really look at the scene you are shooting? We've all heard about photos with a tree growing out of someone's head. Yet you may capture an image that looks really crazy like the example at right. Give a look to the page titled Why camera angles are critical... to see a number of examples.Nearly every one of those images makes you do a double-take to see what is really in the photograph and not simple what you see at first glance. The example I've shown first looks rather crude until you realize a kids arm is sticking out and not something else.
I've got to think if you just look at the viewfinder (or screen) for a second before clicking that you can avoid crazy pictures like this. Then again, maybe you can be the person who purposefully takes crazy shots that get people looking...and talking.
